On the eve of International Women’s Day, GRO-MSME organized a special webinar titled “She Leads, She Scales” with the objective of encouraging women to explore entrepreneurship and understand the ecosystem of opportunities, skills, and institutional support available for them.
The webinar brought together industry experts, institutional representatives, and MSME leaders to discuss opportunities, skills, government support, and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in India. The session aimed to inspire aspiring women entrepreneurs and provide them with practical insights to scale their ventures successfully.
Dr. Neelam Saxena, Dean Academics at Institute of Management Studies Noida, delivered an insightful session on “Opportunities and Skills Required for Women Entrepreneurs.”
She highlighted that the evolving economic landscape has opened multiple avenues for women in sectors such as services, digital businesses, education, consulting, and creative industries. She emphasized that women entrepreneurs should focus on building key skills such as:
Dr. Saxena also stressed that confidence, continuous learning, and adaptability are essential qualities for women entrepreneurs to succeed in the competitive business environment.
Mr. Rashid from World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) spoke about “Available Government Support for Women Entrepreneurs.”
He provided an overview of several government initiatives designed to promote women-led enterprises. His session highlighted the importance of policy awareness and institutional support for women entrepreneurs. He also emphasized the role of organizations like WASME in facilitating global networking, knowledge sharing, and access to opportunities for MSMEs.
Mr. Rashid encouraged women entrepreneurs to actively explore government schemes, financial support programs, and training initiatives that can help them establish and expand their businesses.
Ashok Jha, Founder of GRO-MSME, spoke on “Obstacles Faced by Women Entrepreneurs and the Role of GRO-MSME in Their Upliftment.”

Mr. Jha emphasized that GRO-MSME aims to create a strong support ecosystem for women entrepreneurs by providing guidance in financial access, business advisory, networking opportunities, and knowledge sharing.
He also stressed that empowering women entrepreneurs is not only a social responsibility but also an economic necessity for the growth of the MSME sector and the national economy.
The webinar was conceived by CA Sunil Aggarwal, Co-Founder of GRO-MSME, with the vision of creating a platform where knowledge, opportunities, and institutional support could be brought together to encourage women entrepreneurship.
The initiative reflects GRO-MSME’s commitment to building an inclusive and supportive ecosystem for MSMEs, especially for emerging women entrepreneurs.
